![]() ![]() I was so happy to see you on Kalliope with my amazing friends. I saw you TWICE this year at EDC and it was absolutely amazing. You have so many songs that have helped me: Worlds Apart, Strangers, Days to Come, Falling Away, Don’t Leave, the list goes on lol I have so many happy memories from seeing you live this year. No matter what feeling the grief brings upon me, your music always lifts me up, and puts a smile on my face. I’m always left knowing that everything is going to be ok, and I have so much to be grateful for. The words combined with the driving elating sounds have kept me grounded in positivity as I maneuver through my life without him. ![]() The music you’ve made allows me to feel the grief and the pain, but never get stuck in it. He was my best friend, and it still doesn’t feel real that he’s gone. But I’m writing you to say thank you for all that you’ve done this year to help me through the pain of his loss. As I explored your EPs my dad was fighting for his life, and the pain of watching him deteriorate was one I can never put to words. ![]() I was a fan before but was only familiar with your remixes. Your set was hands down my favorite of the festival, so I dove head first into your music when I got home. I had just come back from my first EDC in LV, and was not ready for the month to come. This time last year my dad began losing his fight against cancer. Ok, so this is my first ever post to Reddit and it's very personal and I little heavy but I really wanted to share because the timing of this AMA could not be more beautiful.
